Understand the medical diagnosis behind a pinched nerve

But let's explain these terms in a more medical approach. The first thing we should explain is the definition of the nerve: nerves are similar to electrical cords that transport information from the brain to every part of the body and vice-versa. We have nerves in every little organ from our body. There are different categories of nerves that make the connection between our mind and our body and if any of them are pinched, this is translated in pain for the local body part affected. It is very important to understand the process that takes place when we are dealing with a pinched nerve. The nerve is transporting the information from the brain to the rest of the body via an electrochemical signal. When we are dealing with a pinched nerve, the signal transported was interrupted somewhere during transportation.

What are the symptoms of a pinched nerve?

If you encounter difficulties with some parts of your body, or you experience pains in your neck or lower back, you may be suffering from a pinched nerve condition. If you find yourself answering positive to the following symptoms, then you are for sure suffering from a pinched nerve and it's time you get treated as soon as possible. Of course the symptoms are varied according to the part of the body that is affected by the pinched nerve. The following are the most well known symptoms of a pinched nerve condition: pain, numbness, tingling and weakness of the muscles including muscle spasms.

What should you expect to feel when dealing with a pinched nerve?

Sometimes when you are dealing with a pinched nerve condition, you feel like a part of your body has gone asleep. In other words, you feel very weak in the part of the body affected by a pinched nerve. A pinched nerve in the neck may cause neck pain or compressed neck whilst a pinched nerve in the lower back can cause compressed sensation in the back and even stiffness down the leg.

Important aspect of pinched nerve

There is an important aspect that need be taken into consideration: not all the time you will feel pain exactly where your nerve is damaged, you may be suffering from pinched neck nerve and feel the sensations in your hand, that is natural because the nerve is carrying out the wrong signal information to your hand and you may feel the symptoms there. Some sensations are common among all the pinched nerves conditions.

Get a pinched nerve freedom position

If you have experience the symptoms of a pinched nerve in the past or you are still in pain, maybe it's time you see a doctor. There are many treatments available today, even nontraditional treatments, so there is no need to put yourself to this misery caused by a pinched nerve regardless the part of the body affected.
