What is bulged disc?
Many people are suffering from bulged disc today. Not only seniors, but, younger people are also suffering from it. Bulging discs usually occur when the soft spongy substance of the body that is called the nucleus pulposes, existing at the center of the intervertebral disc, is bulged out. Annulus fibrosis or ligaments surrounds the core of the disc. When the nucleus pulposes bulges out, these discs are subject to pressure. At the beginning, people cannot notice much pain but when the bulging occurs into the spinal canal the pain becomes unbearable. This is a critical clinical condition and it is called bulged disc. |
